Colorful Craftsmanship
Verdura Cornucopia Tourmaline Earrings, $9,750
“This is my favorite piece to date that has come through the New York Valuation Office. [They are] a perfect example of what the jewelry brand Verdura excels at: craftsmanship and COLOR!
These earrings were created to look like a cornucopia, using semi-precious green tourmalines. The pictures don’t even do them justice, they were stunning!”

Dazzling Diamonds
Cartier Tank Americaine Chronoflex Watch, $44,995
“This piece really stood out to me, because of how fast we were able to sell it. The client came to us with this watch as a “test” to see how quickly we could move his high value items. After much discussion, the consignor agreed to a list price of just under $45,000. As soon as the item was in our possession , we were able to find a buyer, and in less than an hour after the watch was posted on the site, it was sold to a customer in the Middle East.
This piece really demonstrates how connected we are to trends and our customer base, not just in the U.S, but on a global level. I think people are curious to know how their once-beloved items move through our supply chain. How cool is it to know that a beautiful piece that lived on a wrist in LA is now adorning someone in the high rises of Dubai?”

Iconic Designer History
Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger Diamond Earrings, $2,195
“These enamel and diamond earrings by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. illustrate the range and quality of pieces we have on the site. Schlumberger’s pieces for Tiffany were worn by style icons from Elizabeth Taylor to Diana Vreeland, and his pieces are highly sought-after. I was with our New York gemologist Katherine Palmiter when she took in a really exciting group of his pieces from a woman who worked for Tiffany in their heyday.”
