It’s no secret around the office that some of us are epic shoppers of the site. It’s pretty obvious when your coworkers’ desks are permanently stacked up with boxes and The RealReal dust bags. We regularly unveil what we’ve bought to each other to the usual rounds of feedback and advice — are these sunglasses too big? Can I wear this to that wedding I’m going to? I need this … right? Like many shoppers, we’re pretty proud when we’re able to snag pieces that are extra special, and so this month we decided to share. From an engagement ring AND a wedding dress to replacements for beloved lost sunglasses to runway pieces we’ve longed for, these are some of our best scores this month. I love re-discovering styles from my favorite brands that I had been obsessed with at some point. It was love at first site when I spotted these knotted sandals all over Chloé ‘s SS16 runway, and they are finally mine! I’ve also been in the market for printed trophy tops in anticipation of summer and I was very happy to find this silk top from Isabel Marant’s Rajasthan-inspired SS16 runway.

Engagement Ring | Shop Engagement Rings; Ellery Dress | Shop Ellery
The Ring. I sent the link to this ring to my fiancé Miguel a while ago and said “This is exactly what I want!” I didn’t think he was going to get it for me, I just wanted to show him the style. Later he said he decided to get it from the site because when he was shopping around salespeople were pretty aggressive and also he didn’t want to design a custom ring (not our style). Miguel is a pretty simple man and didn’t need in-person customer service extras. I love that my ring is pre-owned because I like to think of myself as someone who’s somewhat environmentally friendly and I love the sustainability behind it all.
The Dress. We’re having a tiny City Hall wedding and I wanted a simple, chic white dress. I’m far from a traditional bride. Scrolling through Instagram I saw this dress but I didn’t know who made it. Later I saw the same dress on my style icon SOLANGE. I thought, this is exactly what I want. Literally a few days after I got engaged my coworker/friend Rebecca sent me a link and it’s my Ellery dress — IT’S ON THE SITE. I put it in my cart and check out. Now I can’t wait to get married in my Solange-approved dress! I’m still shopping around for shoes, but I’m hoping I’ll find my dream Manolos on the site too.

I spotted this necklace at one of our lookbook shoots. Our stylist had pulled it and I fell in love with it. I was incredibly surprised when I found out it was Balenciaga and it was under $200, and I knew I had to have it. I love wearing it with turtlenecks and chunky knits because it’s such a statement piece. I feel like ever since I bought it, I see more and more jewelry with sea shapes and pearls, so now I feel like I was ahead of the trend.
The pants are Rosie Assoulin, and they’re my favorite pair of pants. I have a hard time, in general, finding pants that fit me, but because they’re high waisted with a paper bag waist they’re comfortable and easy to wear. I love the color because it’s a neutral olive green that goes with everything. I’ve literally been wearing them twice a week so I was devastated when I left them in a hotel room recently. I called housekeeping and described them and they called me back within five hours to say they’d found them. I was like charge my credit card whatever you want, I just want my pants back!
