HOW THE LINE’S STYLE DIRECTOR MAKES HOLIDAYS AT HOME CHIC
SHOP THE EDIT
The holidays may require running around town on errands, journeys down internet rabbit holes for the perfect gift and travel far and wide, but at the center of everything is often one place: home. To make your space an inviting holiday gathering place, we’ve collaborated with The Line on a special Holiday At Home edit. Known for its carefully curated selection and innovative retail concept, which presents Apartments that feel more like a supremely style-conscious person’s home than a store, The Line has quickly established itself as a go-to for elevated home, fashion and beauty items.
The Line Style Director, Allee Goldstein
Our collaboration is curated by The Line’s Founder Vanessa Traina and Style Editor Allee Goldstein and is available to shop online and in our SoHo store at 80 Wooster St. So whether you revel in the time of year to break out traditions or dread the to-do lists necessary to get it all done, their exclusive edit has something you’ll love that will make the holidays easier, cozier and more beautiful. Read on as Style Director Allee Goldstein shares how she entertains, her go-to looks and what’s currently inspiring her.

What’s your favorite tip for setting the perfect tablescape for the holidays?
Keep things simple and warm through candlelight by using varying heights of vintage brass candleholders, florals and playing with texture.
What’s an easy holiday touch that doesn’t take a ton of time?
Florals and a favorite playlist.
What currently inspires you?
The rich history of NY and its architecture always inspire me.
What’s your go-to look when entertaining guests in your home?
I love to cook while entertaining, so I tend to keep it simple yet elegant and lean toward cozy cashmere knits, and my favorite pair of Khaite jeans.
What’s your beauty look when dressing up for the holidays?
A natural eye with a bold lip is my go-to beauty look for the holidays.

How do you create a cozy atmosphere inside your home around this time of year?
Each day begins with an open window and burning Pinon to evoke a feeling of home. I like the combination of cool crisp mornings and the warmth of the scent. Evenings, a cozy atmosphere is created through lighting and candles with warm, woodsy scents.
What unexpected pieces are you loving right now?
Recently, while traveling, I came across a set of vintage sterling silver plates from the 1940s.
