INSIDE THE LOOKBOOK: THE STORY BEHIND THE PERFECT SETTING

SHOP FINE JEWELRY & WATCHES
Our latest lookbook evokes visions of high tea with an opulent twist in the form of Versace place settings paired with fine jewelry. Featuring diamonds and gold, David Yurman and Pomellato, it’s enough to inspire you to restock your jewelry box. For the story and vision behind the shoot, we turned to our Senior Merchant for Fine Jewelry & Watches, Serena Ramsey, and Style Director, Molly Thompson.
Serena Ramsey:
David Yurman Diamond Cable Collar
We loved the idea of setting the table with accents of fine jewelry to create an interplay of nostalgia and modernity. In today’s hectic pace, it’s so refreshing to sit for tea or to set a beautiful dinner table. It’s that same thoughtfulness that goes into choosing finishing jewelry touches for your outfit.
We selected jewelry that is both modern and timeless — the diamond riviere necklace and cocktail ring are a little bit old Hollywood, while the Hermès, David Yurman, Chanel and Bottega Veneta pieces are more contemporary.
Molly Thompson:
I love a diamond tennis necklace because it’s nonchalant and pairs perfectly with my favorite look: a t-shirt and jeans. It’s a touch edgy and a touch 80s yuppie.
Serena Ramsey:
Colorful pieces were also key. Color has the power to uplift your mood! The mix of the chartreuse Hermès watch with the turquoise and tangerine dinner plates is so fun.
Versace Place SettingWe were also inspired by the natural world. The peacock symbolizes integrity and showing your true colors, and the classic diamond necklace and the bold citrine cocktail ring are pieces that speak to today’s woman – strong, bright and beautiful. The butterfly represents transformation, a powerful symbol of life’s lessons.
We loved the idea of mixing fine and fun, and dinner parties with mix-and-match table settings where the china is fine, yet the mix of different patterns keeps the mood light and festive.
Molly Thompson:
I also love Miami and would love a night in the Versace mansion with all Versace everything, so this china was fun to play with.
