WHAT WE’D WEAR TO OUR DREAM DESTINATIONS

You know that feeling when all you can do is daydream about your next vacation? Yeah, we’re right there with you. Whether fantasies are swirling about margaritas on the beach or a more adventurous itinerary, paring down your travel essentials is almost as important as the actual journey. Our summer travel-inspired lookbook You Can Go Your Own Way has got us buzzing about our most exciting trips past and future so we’re sharing our favorite destinations, plus the obsessions we need to bring on the vacation vibes.

Adventure In Belize

Gucci Blooms Print Headband, $275Vita Kin Embroidered Mini Dress, $795Dolce & Gabbana Straw Tote, $445
“At the end of the month my husband and I are going to Belize! We’re becoming bigger thrill seekers and on our first stop to a fishing village on the south coast called Placencia, we’ll be swimming with whale sharks! Then we’re going on a day trip to San Ignacio to see the Mayan ruins, Tikal. For a respite from the adventurous plans, we’ll spend some time at the Ka’ana Resort & Spa. Since it’ll be the start of rainy season and will be rather humid, I’m bringing light breathable fabrics like this Vita Kin dress and I’ll definitely need a straw bag.”

Romance In Italy

Dolce & Gabbana Mambo Dress, $1,275Mark Cross Wicker Satchel, $1,800La Perla Crochet Swimsuit, $150
“My husband and I went on a trip to Positano off the coast of Italy for our anniversary. The food was incredible and we went to a gorgeous restaurant called La Sponda that had ivy growing up the walls and was completely lit by candlelight. Walking around at night was amazing because the weather was just warm enough to break out my best Dolce & Gabbana dresses and espadrilles and wander the calm, quiet streets once all the tourists had left for the day. The hotel we stayed at, Hotel Palazzo Murat, had a view of the cathedral and rows of beach chairs to sunbathe on. We had pizza and drinks delivered to us on the beach!”

Wildlife In Australia & New Zealand

ATM Coated Parka Jacket, $265Balenciaga Leather Boots, $250Tome Silk Striped Pants, $125
“I’m going to New Zealand and Australia in a few days! In New Zealand we’re staying at the Huhu Chalet, which is a quirky pyramid-shaped bungalow in the Waitomo Village. We’re also touring the bioluminescent Glowworm Caves which are over 120 years old. Then in Sydney, Australia we’re visiting the Featherdale Wildlife Park to see kangaroos, wombats and all kinds of amazing animals. I’m really excited to eat great food and be by the water. I bought new hiking boots and a light rain jacket to keep me dry and ready for any hikes or adventures.”

Surfing In Australia & Fiji

Céline Bridge Tinted Sunglasses, $175Étoile Isabel Marant Maxi Dress, $245Balenciaga 2017 Knot Sandals, $500
“We are kicking off our trip to Sydney, Australia by staying at The Old Clare Hotel. We’ll spend a few days exploring the city, eventually heading to Byron Bay, where our days will begin to get lazier and filled with surfing, swimming and hiking. A boutique surf hotel fit the bill for this. We can’t wait to check out The Atlantic! There are so many places on our list but we are definitely looking forward to visiting The Farm and having a romantic dinner at Three Blue Ducks. Since exploring Australia wasn’t quite enough, we decided to extend the trip by hopping on a short 3 hour flight to Fiji. We’re staying at an eco surf resort where we will spend our days snorkeling, doing yoga and napping on the beach!”

Shopping In The Mediterranean

Dolce & Gabbana Claudia Bucket Bag, $2,150Tome Sleeveless Striped Dress, $245Fendi Ruffled Sneakers, $525
“I went on a Mediterranean cruise with my family, which was absolutely beautiful. When we got to the port in Napoli my mom and I wanted to go shopping. We left my little sister at the kids’ club on the ship while we went out on the town, but as we were shopping we saw the boat start to leave! We ran over screaming and luckily I speak Italian so I was able to explain our situation. They stopped the boat and sent us out in a tiny raft, then made us climb a rope ladder. My mom was wearing 5-inch heels and managed to make it all the way up, but the moral of the story is always bring comfortable shoes because no matter how luxurious your vacation, you never know when you’re going to have to climb your way out of a situation.”

Gallery Hopping In Vancouver

Prada Spring 2017 City Calf Plex Ribbon Bag, $1,895Simon Miller Cropped Jeans, $125Zimmermann Multistrap Leather Sandals, $225
“I’m off to Vancouver, British Columbia this summer. I’m looking forward to checking out the local craft breweries like Brassneck Tasting Room and seeing the local affair on Granville Island. There are great restaurants, people-watching and dancing! I’m also really looking forward to the Vancouver Art Gallery and their unique exhibitions. I’m bringing some cropped denim and sandals with just a little heel for walking around, and this amazing Prada crossbody bag so I can explore comfortably.”
